How to Create a DIY New Year’s Eve Table You Can Afford
New Year’s Eve is one of my favorite holidays and I just can’t get over this shoot from last year. For this inspiration shoot the designers at Custom Love Gifts wanted to showcase the glitz and glamour of New Years Eve decorations using three different budgets- one for a high end affair, one for a mid range party, and one for a low budget gathering. Today we will focus on our budget friendly New Year’s Eve Inspiration, which actually turned out to be my favorite table of the three we designed!
To create the feel of a luxe event with or without a lush budget, the DIY New Year’s Eve décor focused on a mix of precious metal colors and a little dash of sparkly details on a black backdrop as dark as midnight. What better view for a night on the town than the skyline of Knoxville, Tennessee as seen from the Women’s Basketball Hall of Fame showcased by floor to ceiling windows.
White Table provided New Years Eve inspired linens with gold on black details. Wine bottles were spray-painted gold to match, and held a mini New Years Eve garland in silver glitter with gold tinsel. This was such a fun and easy project and the centerpiece was less than $20! DIY party hats and matching blowers were created with “Auld Lang Sine” sheet music and gold tinsel garland details. Dark chocolate covered trufflles in metallic mini muffin cups held guest’s name cards beside handmade Blackberry Merlot wine-infused jam favors by Custom Love Gifts.
Whether you are on a budget of dollars or diamonds, the perfect New Years Eve party décor is within your reach, just add glitter!
