What to Expect When You Hire a Full Service Wedding Planner

We will go over the four options you have when you plan your event- to hire a planner, a coordinator, a designer, or DIY it with your own search. When it is time to start planning your wedding it won’t take long before you realize you need some help, whether it be friends, family or a professional.
Coordinating a large and important event with tons of design details can be hectic and stressful and wonderful all at the same time. While planning the event can be fun, the last thing you want to do as the guest of honor is be totally stressed all day. A Wedding Planner not only takes the heat off of you the day of the event, but also acts as a guide throughout the entire process.
Let’s think of a full service wedding planner as the equivalent to an all inclusive hotel, where many services are included into one fabulous package. A planner will be a concierge for booking your wedding vendors, offer experienced advice, and help you plan a detailed budget so you get the most of every dollar. From floor plans to contracts, you should expect a full service planner to go over every detail with you. A planner will often take the role of a Wedding Coordinator and be present to lead the event the entire day. Some full service planners offer partial planning and “Month of” Planning Services so they can step in at any point of the planning process. Expect a full service wedding planner to be putting in 80-250 hours worth of work on your event so the price tag will usually be 10-15% of your total budget. This is perfect for someone that is super busy from the start or overwhelmed during the planning process. Keep calm, hire a planner.

Partial Service Wedding Coordination
In addition to the Day of Coordination services, a professional will help you coordinate with your wedding vendors 3-9 months prior to your event. We can assist with keeping your budget on track and making sure you don’t forget any of the details. We can step in at any time during the process, and allow you to stay in charge of the planning process but in a relaxed and fun way. Includes up to 9 consultations, including one on-site venue meeting, up to ten hours of on-site direction with a coordinator & assistant and one hour rehearsal with officiant prior to event.
Full Service Wedding Coordination
From sending the save the dates to the invitations to the thank you notes, we will be guiding you throughout the entire planning process. We can assist in selecting the best vendors, maintaining your budget, and coordinating all event services. Package includes 12 consultations, up to ten hours of on-site direction with a coordinator and assistant and one hour rehearsal with officiant prior to event. We will create a professionally manage a budget, a timeline, a guest list and lead all aspects of coordinating your event.
